ISO 257:2004

Pesticides and other agrochemicals — Principles for the selection of common names

ISO 257:2004 gives principles for creating common names for pesticides and other agrochemicals. These principles are defined for the guidance of proposers of such common names.

The procedure for the establishment of common names is also given.
