Defines terms relating to diagnostic systems in English and French. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (1984), subclause 2.6.5 of which has been technically revised as follows: “diagnostic tester: Non-built-in equipment with diagnostic capability. Such non-built-in equipment may be used in the vehicle.”
