Packaging — Estimating the filled volume using the flat dimensions — Part 1: Paper sacks

This part of ISO/TR 8281 establishes empirical equations for relating the flat dimensions of paper sacks to their capacity. The experimental methods used are also described. A voluminous annex delivers tables with results of filling trials. Three figures show nomographs for volume determination.
